About The Role

We are looking to welcome a hardworking and dynamic individual to join our KBA team. The ideal candidate is both tenacious and driven in their work and has a strong will and desire to see their team succeed.

This is for our Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm weekend shift.

Established in 1982, the Great Little Box Company is a family-owned and operated leading manufacturer of Labels, Corrugated Boxes & Displays, Folding Cartons, Digital Packaging, Protective Packaging, and the distribution of Shipping Supplies. We make almost anything a company will need to package, ship, and display their products. Responsibilities

• Ensure jobs are staged properly and accurately for upcoming shifts. This includes but is not limited to plates, inks, samples, coating blankets, job tickets are attached to plate file and dockets are at press.
• Check levels of powder, wash up solvents, water, etch & sub
• File away coating blankets, sample sheets and return inks after jobs are completed
• Ensure material is available for feeder, to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Deliver equipment components such as plates and ink to the equipment for installation
• Provide basic assistance as needed to setup for make-ready on equipment
• Good organizational skills
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum 1 year experience working in manufacturing/printing
• Feeder or print experience is an asset
• Basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials is an asset
• Ability to accurately follow and read instructions on the job ticket
• Ability to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and feeder mechanisms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to use a computer an asset
• Must be a team player
