EnerStar Solutions provides customized rental and service solutions for all industries. Enerstar has secured one of the few coveted Starlink Reseller agreements. Starlink is a communication service disrupter, delivering low-latency, high throughput broadband internet services to remote sites around the world. The Enerstar Sales Executive for this position serves as the point of contact for Enerstar’s Starlink account, growing the base of enterprise customers from account acquisition, contract signature, through successful activation, ensuring all contract terms are fulfilled.

This is an individual contributor role that will manage large, complex enterprise agreements. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that has a passion for ensuring Enerstar’s excellent customer experience is second to none, while at the same time maximizing Enerstar’s market exposure and ongoing revenue expansion.

Enerstar Solutions is recruiting for a result driven Sales Account Executiveto fulfill this role. Being an integral part of the of the company and will be a based out ofCalgary, Canada. The incumbent will be reporting to Enerstar Communication Division Department Executives.


Objectives of this Role:

The candidate is a seasoned and experienced professional with a strong engagement in Communications Sales. Candidate will be familiar with telecom/ICT solutions with a focus on developing new business opportunities by pursuing top line revenue growth in areas of strategic importance to Enerstar, working closely with Enerstar pre-sales engineering team, back office, and technical functions to ensure contracts deliver product alignment, technical feasibility, and strategic business benefits to Enerstar and our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Customer growth and retention through strategic selling.
  • Generate new sales opportunities, deliver sales presentations, negotiate, and close sales dals.
  • Work with the technical solutions experts to create innovative and compelling proposals.
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop opportunities in existing and new accounts to identify profitable revenue streams.
  • Proactively engage various teams within Enerstar to ensure appropriate levels of direct customer support.
  • Establish, develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels to achieve the objectives of the company.
  • Participate in the development of strategic customer planning sessions and reviews to ensure organizational alignment with customer needs and desires.
  • Consistently maintain a robust sales pipeline that supports and exceeds revenue forecasts.
  • Generate new ideas for service and product opportunities.
  • Attend industry events to network with relevant stakeholders, gain industry insight and represent Enerstar in the marketplace.
  • Sales of Enerstar Communication products and services.
  • Coordination with Enerstar’s third party contractors for deployment of units.
  • Dealing with account setups and taking calls where required for customer issues.
  • Perform reporting and administrative activities such as:
    • Analyze and control expenses to conform to accounting requirements and budgetary constraints.
    • Work closely with Finance team to ensure customer billing accuracies and support AR escalations.
    • Prepare periodic reports of sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
    • Maintain accuracy of online systems designed to report status and progress, i.e., CRM customer contacts and sales opportunities

Required Skill/ Abilities:

  • A proven track record of consistently maintaining a robust sales pipeline that contributed to exceed revenue forecasts.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and sales-related software.
  • Must have business savvy, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and ability to close deals – Engagement to closure.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Positive mindset, result-oriented, high level of initiative and integrity.
  • Hands-on attitude to solve problems and capture opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen and work independently and think strategically.
  • A team player and adaptable.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Business Management, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
  • 5 years’ experience with 2+ years in telecom/technology/managed services sales (solution sales approach) and selling to the oil and gas industries.

Fulltime with one-year renewable term
