Up Here magazine is looking for an experienced, creative editor to take our award-winning magazine to a new level.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and shaping innovative content that is relevant to the magazine’s print and online audiences.

The editor will oversee a small editorial team of staff and freelancers responsible for Up Here magazine, the Cold Snaps newsletter, the Up Here website and social media platforms. This position is located in Yellowknife, NT and the editor must be prepared to relocate. The editor reports directly to the publisher.

We are looking for someone with at least five years’ experience in magazine publishing who has excellent editorial planning, editing and writing skills. The individual in this position should be well organized and able to manage relationships with other divisions of the company.

Up Here Publishing offers a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits and three weeks vacation annually, changing to four weeks vacation after five years with the company.
