Skills and Qualifications

Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent related work experience;
  • Strong Leadership Skills;
  • Fluently bilingual in Inuktitut and English (verbal and written) French an asset;
  • Superior Sabre knowledge and experience;
  • Complete proficiency in Windows, Excel and Word;
  • Excellent Customer Service and Training Skills;
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills for internal and external Customers;
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, analytical and decision making skills;
  • Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
Duties and Responsibilities

Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures;
  • Communicate with airport staff and medical travel coordinators to execute solutions;
  • Action special requests;
  • Provide training, coaching and ongoing support ;
  • Resolve day to day booking and travel issues with Government of Nunavut Department of Health;
  • Liaise and provide support to Managers, Supervisors, Co-coordinators, Sales Team;
  • Work directly with Manager on personnel related issues including appraisals, interviews and disciplinary procedures;
  • Coordinate shift schedules with Manager;
  • Other duties as assigned.
