On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Process & Reporting Analyst - Reconciliations.

Data Process & Reporting Analyst - Reconciliations – Job Description

• Assist with daily BAU reconciliations and review the daily reconciliation process and provide recommendations for efficiencies
• IntelliMatch (also referred to as iMatch) is the main reconciliation tool used in the daily reconciliation process
• 2 roles
• 1st position - assist on reconciliation processes which have grown large & cumbersome, need to create efficacy
• Problem solving person, analyzing and see how we can improve the reconciliation process going forward
• Using IntelliMatch, inside it are auto match rules, team having issues working with this, may need someone to think outside the box, go through and do a deep dive on how to improve this process
• 2nd position – team compiles information into a month end report, reporting on trades, both valid and non-valid trades backed up into a PDF, has become cumbersome manual effort
• The team also confirms stock loans on a monthly basis, GL files every month from different sources, making it difficult to match up to each GL, looking for way to automate this process
  
  

Data Process & Reporting Analyst - Reconciliations – Mandatory Skills

• Business and/or Accounting educational background
• 2+ years of previous Accounting background (strong understanding statements, ledgers, debits/credits)
• Strong Data Analyst experience – demonstrated ability to capture logic
• Well versed with MS Excel macros and VBA for data gathering
• Understand processing daily reconciliations
• IntelliMatch experience would be benefit- main reconciliation tool used in the daily reconciliation process
