Problem solver, forward thinker, and a passionate storyteller.We’re looking for a communications professional who shares our corporate value that People Matter, to support the realization of miyo-pimatisiwin, (me-o-pi-ma-ti-si-win) “the good life” in our Strategy and Transformation Division.

With significant experience providing strategic communications advice to leaders, in this role you will be a key member of the City’s transformational ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program. A motivated go-getter, you bring relevant knowledge and subject matter expertise on how to best reach and engage employees to support the success of the program’s sustainment and advancement activities.

Building on your skills and experience, you will develop employee communications and events for employees of the City with imagination and creativity. You will establish strong working relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at every level of the organization to deliver meaningful, compelling and creative campaigns that create the case for change and action while amplifying our corporate values and culture.

We need an experienced communications advisor with a proven track record of:

• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive with the ability to positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives.
• A strategic thinkerwho can influence and engage at all levels, skilled at translating business needs into effective communications strategies.
• An exceptional communicator skilled at telling stories that resonate across a variety of audiences, as well as writing strategies and reports.
• Passionate about continuous improvement and client delivery with an open-minded and flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Up to date with the latest trendsand other relevant related information.
• Strong change management, organizational and time management skills.

Weekly Hours: 36.67 - Must be available to be on-call.

Salary Range: $80,150.88 to $93,935.04 CAD per annum (2022 rates)
