Commissioning Technician

工作内容

• Description:* Our client is looking for a field technician for the commissioning of the trackers in newer solar fields. They would go through every tracker on site to make sure everything is working and setup with firmware, download software into the controller box, basically bringing the system to life.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Test and commission our client’s tracker installations and provide training to onsite our client’s employees and partner companies
• Provide tracker controller expertise, supporting controller commissioning process and on-going maintenance
• Provide technical support for our client’s customers worldwide, ensuring a best in class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value
• Manage controller commissioning process for customer acceptance of our clients tracker installations for placement of warranty
• Play a key role in third party qualification for O&M providers
• Support product development, sales, and marketing as requested
• Work closely with Remote Monitoring Team providing in the field repairs and documenting all issues
• Manage field testing of prototype and beta product lines
• Support in the development of controller technical documentation for Commissioning and O&M, including revision control
• Be an internal customer advocate within our client’s company
• Able to carry a $2000 balance at a time on a personal credit card for travel expenses
• MUST HAVE:*
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent power generation and commissioning experience
• Strong understanding of customer and technical support for Utility-scale and DG projects
• Technological aptitude, well versed in computer skills
• Construction site/field experience
• MS Office suite (excel, word, outlook)
• Should know how to use a fluke multimeter to test voltage
