Program Management (PM) plays a key role with direct customer contact and interface with all CMP-AMS sites as needed (Canada and United States).Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Program Manager, with the support of the Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams, is primarily responsible for the overall success of their client product portfolios, from the initial quote to the multiple life cycles of each product. The daily routine of this position include the introduction of a new product, the transfer to production, monitoring the mature product and the transition of the product at the end of its life as well as follow-ups on budgets.The Program Manager is also required to continuously monitor the business environment of their clients in order to detect possible new product developments, then to serve as the main technical contact and technical interface with the client.The Program Manager also works with the sales teams on sales strategies, participates in customer visits in an organized and efficient manner, addressing both the commercial and technical aspects of the relationship.PrerequisitesA PMP / CAPM designation or experience deemed relevantMore than 5 years of experience in project management, an assetUnderstands the technical, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain aspects of the industrySheet metal and machining expertise, an assetExperience in managing complex manufacturing projectsExceptional skills in operational leadership, collaboration, communication, and motivationEntrepreneurship and customer orientationExcellent judgment and strong decision-making skillsWork beyond functional and organizational limitsWillingness to take on new challenges and learn new thingsSeek excellence and a strong motivation to succeed and achieve management objectivesAvailable for travelBilingual
