In this role you will:

  • Track & coordinate engineering change orders from creation to release in the electronic change order database
  • Manage interaction with engineer team and other departments to assure accuracy and completeness of all Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) associated with developing and manufacturing product.
  • Review, analyze, coordinate, track and mitigate issues for all ECOs.
  • Enforce document creation and release requirements in line with company change order procedures
  • Manage changes to ERP Data on Microsoft GP Dynamics, enforcing governance processes and controls.
  • Develop and coordinate part number configurations structures for new products
  • Report and deliver updates to manager through regular meetings
  • Work with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing to support the New Product Introduction (NPI), prototype process
  • Liaise with Production Manager to initiate Go/No Go prototype process
  • Participate in weekly purchasing NPI meetings
  • Enter and maintain purchasing NPI forecast data
  • Production forecast data management as required
  • Coordinate engineering approved temporary deviations with procurement and manufacturing teams
  • Backup for procurement forecast creation

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • Grade 12 Graduate.
  • Post-secondary Education or experience related to Inventory, Scheduling or Materials Management
  • 3 or more years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment (Document or Change Control functions preferred).
  • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Trouble shooting, problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Capable of working independently and part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, with ability to enforce procedures and represent the department in a professional manner.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology and bills of material
  • Significant knowledge and experience with processes relating to Change Management and ERP systems (Microsoft GP Dynamics preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
