Carver’s Steakhouse is currently looking for a dynamic individual to be its manager. In addition to managing the current steakhouse, the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing Carver’s Lounge, formerly Six Twelve, which is scheduled to open this fall. Carver’s Lounge will be a natural extension and evolution of the steakhouse, an up-tempo, modern urban space offering a fun, high quality culinary experience and a fantastic wine and beverage offering.

As the Carver’s Steakhouse and Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for the daily running of the dining room and lounge, providing motivation, direction, and mentorship to your team, while holding the team accountable to the standards set forth for Carver’s. You will ensure service excellence throughout the guest experience, supporting and guiding the team to deliver a service that meets or exceeds guest expectations. Your expertise and passion of both food and beverage are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the operation, as well leading the team by sharing your knowledge.

In this managerial role, you are ultimately responsible for Carver’s Steakhouse and Lounge’s success by increasing revenues, managing costs, implementing processes, and, most importantly, building guest loyalty by delivering an excellent guest experience.

You will be part of an energetic management team that lead with great attitude, mentorship, communication, and expectation. This position reports to the Director of Operations, Food and Beverage.

Attributes and Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years in a Managerial or Supervisory role in Food and Beverage
· Professional serving experience
· Attentive, engaging, and social
· Professional appearance, confident, and approachable
· Sommelier or significant level of wine knowledge is a definite asset
· Food safe handling certificate
· Provincial responsible alcohol service certification
· Previous experience with administrative aspect of point-of-sale system
· Proficient computer skills and adaptable to various programs
