Job Duties/Responsibilities

· Responsible for creating meaningful interactions with customers

· Complete identification checks for all customers

· Educate consumers on the products.

· Seek opportunities to contribute and to improve business results on a daily basis

· Support with inventory management and practice proper section ownership to ensure customers have access to the right stock to drive sales

· Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists, etc.),

· Shared maintenance of the onsite facilities (example: cleaning washrooms)

· Abide by all company policies and programs.

· Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial and municipal legislation.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

· 1-3 years of customer service experience (retail preferred)

· Be exceptional at creating a lasting customer experience and creating a sense of community by developing organic relationships with our customers

· Be insightful, genuinely curious good people that ensure our success by sharing cannabis wisdom and exceeding sales goals.

· You understand customer service and ask great questions to uncover customer intention in order to provide a personalized shopping experience.

· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

· You are open to feedback and coaching

· You demonstrate high levels of integrity and personal responsibility

· Bonus points if you’ve worked in a regulated environment before

Requirements

· Must be 19 years of age or older

· Able to lift boxes that are 5-30lbs.

· CANSELL License is required before commencing employment.

· Must be flexible with hours or work and be comfortable with ever changing duties

· Criminal background check required
