Summit Air has an immediate opening for a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Mary River, Nunavut. Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance on Dornier D228 and ATR 72 aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
• Troubleshoot faulty systems
• Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required
• Maintain spares package through communication with stores department
• Maintain aircraft records using computerized maintenance tracking system
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all required paperwork
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ licensed AME experience
• Possess Transport Canada AME License M1
• Previous experience with D228 and ATR 72 aircraft; endorsements an asset
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills
• Proven observational, decision-making and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  

Work Conditions

• Rotational: 30 days on 30 days off
• Camp/Travel accomodation provided
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide valid COVID-19 vaccination record
