Position: Afternoon Drive Announcer, Bell Media, Non-mgmt
Location: 12 Yates st., St. Catharines, ON
Hours of Work: 8 hours per week; overtime as required
In this role you will be hosting the afternoon drive show on 610 CKTB. You will also work on interview & content preparation and creation for on-air and digital platforms. We are looking for a positive, talented individual to add to the 610 CKTB team.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
- On air announcer 2 days per week from 2p-6p EST
- 2p-6p swing coverage as needed
- Content preparation for 610 CKTB with multi-platform roll-out and engagement
- Booking guests, writing content and features
- Daily social media activity on all platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others as assigned
- Being ahead of the curve and always on the search for “the next big thing”
- Maintaining strong ties to local community
Qualifications
- Min. 2 years experience in News (public relations, writing, production or on air)
- Well connected within the Niagara community & strong knowledge of the area
- Experience with Wide Orbit Automation
- Creative, driven and fun to be around
- Works well within a team dynamic
- Experience in creating and maintaining an engaged social media audience across multiple platforms

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
