Genrep is positioned for significant growth, and we are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to perform and manage the activities in the A/R and is directly responsible for preparing daily invoicing and related duties in posting accounts receivable on a regular basis. This includes maintaining ledgers, credit balances, and resolving account irregularities.

Main Responsibilities

• Receive and process payments, whether by cheques, EFT credit Card, and other forms of payment.
• Post and reconcile customer payments to A/R ledger daily
• Balance daily A/R batches.
• Assist with releasing sales orders and customer credit hold
• Conduct collection calls on overdue accounts on a regular basis.
• Coordinate the processing of credit notes
• Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its customers.
• Investigate collection problems and report to the Manager
• Prepare cheque deposits for received cheques
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
• Help maintain electronic filing procedures.
• Administering customer requests.
• Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors, and other key stakeholders of the company.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects integrity and respect towards customers, suppliers, peers, subordinates, supervisors, and other key stakeholders of the company.
• Understands and adheres to the company’s health and safety policies, programs, and procedures by communicating and promoting health and safety awareness to all employees.
• Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Manager
  

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Location: Mississauga, On

Reports to: Controller

Desired Skill, Knowledge, And Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
• Experience with customer collection
• Experience with Epicor will be an asset
• Experience with intermediate to and advanced in Excel
