Job Overview
Reporting to the Fitness & Clinic Director, this person will be the face of the Club’s Wellness Clinic which includes receptionist tasks such as receiving and answering phone calls and responding to the queries of the members that are related to appointments and schedules. Facilitates coordination of such between the wellness professionals and members.

Specific duties would include, but are not limited to:
  • Greeting members professionally and ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Providing friendly and courteous service when assisting members with questions, reservations, and service information.
  • Managing daily operations of the Wellness Clinic.
  • Managing patient files, patient history/records, and copies and ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Providing information regarding therapists and services offered and providing recommendations as needed.
  • Communicate with the Housekeeping department to ensure all areas of the Wellness Clinic are neat, tidy, clean, and well-maintained and all equipment is safe and in good running order and report any deficiencies to the Clinic Director.

Qualifications
  • 1-year experience in a similar environment (medical clinic, spa, reception, etc.)
  • College/University degree in a related field preferred.
  • Good computer and office equipment skills (Microsoft Office, POS, Jane’s experience is an asset)
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • CPR, AED, and First-aid Certificate.
