Aerotek is hiring a welder/fabricator for our client located in Burnaby, BC (Full time, long term)

Our client is responsible for transporting refined petroleum products!

Work Environment:

• $30-49/hour, depending on experience and active tickets
• 6:30am to 2:45pm, Monday to Friday
• Weekend overtime if needed
• Working outdoors, yard is on a float
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in multiple positions
• Welding steel and aluminum in SMAW & GMAW
• Test and inspect welded surfaces/structures
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Operating rolling machines, shears, presses, drills, and power tools
• Troubleshooting electrical + hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  
  

Job Requirements:

• 2 years + experience in welding/fabricating
• SMAW & GMAW welding experience
• Troubleshooting experience
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems
• Valid drivers license
