Who you are
You are a Web Administrator well versed in Shopify, designing and developing, maintaining an troubleshooting websites. You thrive in IT space and have a keen interest in adopting cutting-edge technologies to business needs, and sorting out software issues.
About the Role
- Use your skills of web design, development, and coding to create and update content, and implement security protocols,
- Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization, site mapping
- Integrate best SEO practices into the front-end
- Customize plug-ins and Shopify themes
- Oversee content management systems
- Create wireframes to meet our brand goal
- Assist with development and integration of Salesforce with various IT stack platforms
- Work on multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously with little supervision
- Design and develop technical solutions to address functional requirements and business workflows
- Deliver, test, and deploy fixes, configuration changes and custom solutions into production
- Collaborate with internal and external stake holders to ensure efficient development and implementation, new features and capabilities and fast investigation and resolution of production issues
- Be eager and willing to learn all facets of the business
- Be an integral part of the Aspen Clean Team.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years experience as a front end developer, or web administrator
- Shopify/Liquid development experience (you’ve developed Shopify themes)
- Expertise in HTML/CSS/Sass/JS
- Deep appreciation for, and understanding of good web design
- Well versed in RWD techniques and mobile performance
- Write well-structured JavaScript
- Some development experience in .NET, Ruby on Rails or other object oriented language through personal or work experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues in laymen’s terms
