Fortinet is offering an exciting opportunity and hiring an Intermediate Web Developer to help with our FortiAuthenticator product development. The FortiAuthenticator builds on the foundations of Fortinets Single Sign-On, adding a greater range of user identification methods and scalability.

The FortiAuthenticator is the gatekeeper of authorization into the Fortinet-secured enterprise network identifying users, querying access permissions from third-party systems and communicating this information to FortiGates and other devices on the network in order to enforce user policies.

Job Responsibilities

At Fortinet, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle of a product that has a real impact in reducing security threats. You will use your skills to:

• Design, develop, maintain and improve new and existing web-based user interface components
• Drive user experience improvements
• Use some of the latest web development tools
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate product functionality
• Optimize and automate development processes
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• 1+ years of experience in Web Development projects
• Excellent JavaScript, HTML and CSS coding capabilities
• Experience with Python programming
• Familiar with building web applications with Django
• Experience with at least one Javascript framework/library (such as jQuery or AngularJS)
• Cross-browser compatibility expertise
• Experience using source control software (SVN, Git)
• Experience working in Linux development environment
• Understanding of networking and security concepts
