We are seeking a Wealth Protection Assistantto join our team.

The Wealth Protection Assistantprovides administrative and marketing support to assigned Life Insurance Specialist and responds to routine member/client inquires.

Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day:

· Sales and Service Strategy:Answers and responds to routine member phone calls and/or emails; contacts members and assists with updates to member information; responds to CRM referrals and schedules member appointment on behalf of advisor; screens members and identifies opportunities to refer to other FW lines of business. Books office for client meeting at a preferred location.

· Member Transactions:Processes and submits applications and supporting documentation and forwards transaction request for processing; follows up within established timeframe to ensure transaction request has been processed; identifies member follow-up for new business and policy issue; contacts back office or member’s doctor for any outstanding medical information; assists with underwriting and issue of policy. Ensures compliance with all audit and risk management requirements and all related internal policies.

· Marketing Support:Organizes and assists in the preparation of presentation materials for internal and external meetings, functions and seminars; prepares invitations and follows up with members to confirm attendance.

· Administrative Support:Monitors the specialist’s diary and ensures annual review letters and/or any other cards/documentation are prepared, as required; identifies upcoming reviews and ensures appointment is made; prepares queries on member data; completes any required documentation as instructed by advisor; maintains up to date and accurate member files. Assists specialist in reconciling monthly commission reporting.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of post secondary business-related courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years in a financial institution, accounting, bookkeeping or life insurance or financial planning firm.
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary business related diploma, life insurance industry related program.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, written and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications in the areas of Excel, Word, Access, Maximizer and Power Point.
  • Life Licensing Qualifying Program [LLQP] or Life Level 2
  • CFP/CLU/RHU program
