The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Water Treatment Operator 2 to work in a camp-based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation.

The Water Treatment Operator 2within the Water Treatment Department reporting to the Sr. Metallurgist.

Job Duties:

• Operation of Water Treatment Plant;
• Handle and mix reagents according to Safe Operating Procedures and BC Mines Act;
• Must be willing to work night shift;
• Must be able to work unsupervised;
• Capable of running samples though the lab in the WTP;
• Monitor the mill tailings circuit discharge;
• Perform pre-operational checks, and operate equipment accordingto Safe Operating Procedures;
• Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly and quickly;
• Conduct troubleshooting activities when problems arise;
• Complete Operator Report Sheets, computerized data entry, and Daily Logbook

• Position Requirements
• Operating of a water treatment plant;
• 3 years’ operating experience in a water treatment plant;
• Mining industry experience desired;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural workforce.
