Warehouse Technician (Contract)

The Role

PepsiCo Foods Canada is currently hiring for Warehouse Workersin the Kentville/New Minas Plant (Nova Scotia).

The Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will be required to ensure the accuracy of the orders that they are picking, as well as ensure they are performing their job efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Be Working On (but Not Limited To)
  • Unloads cardboard and return product from route trucks into inventory
  • Stacks and bundles cardboard
  • Picks customer orders in full cases or by individual bags
  • Loads delivery trucks with product using two-wheel carts & by hand
  • Performs general clean-up/sanitation duties
  • Works in a safe manner utilizing safe lifting techniques
  • Attends regular scheduled team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned: numerous miscellaneous tasks are required in the execution of this position.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Great teamwork and excellent communication skills
  • Previous operations experience (or similar) preferred but not required
  • Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by your ability to handle multiple priorities, problem solve and meet deadlines or targets

Wages:$17.80/hour

Shift
  • 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
  • 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • Applicants must be open to working on any of the shifts above on any given day of the week
