Job Description:
Looking to join an energetic and dynamic warehouse team? Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies for Bosley’s, Tisol, and Total Pet, is looking for candidates like you!
We are looking for a WAREHOUSE SHIPPING RECEIVING ADMIN to join our team at our Calgary, Alberta Distribution Center to fill the following FULL-TIME position.
*This is a contract role for 18-months*
  • 6:00AM – 2:30PM
  • Monday to Friday
What are we looking for?
Education:
  • High School
Experience:
  • Solid ability to perform various functions in a Warehouse environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Comfortable lifting products up to 50lbs each
  • RF experience is required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable Administrative, Clerk or Coordinator role
What you will be doing:
  • Punctual attendance and arrival on shift as schedule ready to work
  • Attend crew meetings and communication sessions as required
  • Participate in stretch program
  • Adhere to all external and internal policies and procures as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Book inbound appointments on site as per schedule and daily capacity to process
  • Book inbound appointments with 3PL providers utilizing various software and portals
  • Check in arriving drivers and validate paperwork vs. expected receipts
  • Produce paperwork for receivers to initiate receiving process
  • Validate completed receipts for system accuracy and identify any non conformance or discrepancies
  • Log non conformance into Traverse system as required
  • Communicate and action any variances as required
  • Complete final system actions to close receipts
  • Process receipts from 3PL providers as per same process utilizing closed receipt communications from them
  • Identify and process any inbound transfers for other DC’s
  • Assist Inventory Control team on any New Listings arriving for initial supply and QC checks
  • Support urgent and priority receipts as required to expedite
  • Review and respond to internal emails and requests for corrective actions
  • Maintain On-Time and Accuracy KPI’s as required
  • Perform other duties as required
