With distribution centres in North York, Montreal and Vancouver we are planning aggressive growth in both store count and organizational focus.

Now, we are looking for a knowledgeable, energetic and an entrepreneurial mindset individual to join our Operations team to manage the day to day work, including inventory, shipping, receiving, picking and packing, and arranging orders for delivery to ensure accuracy and efficiency of processing of customer orders.

The Role:

  • Oversee shipping, receiving, warehousing, order fulfilment, maintenance operations, along with managing returns, reverse logistics, quality issues and damages efficiently on time
  • Ensure warehouse space optimization and drive cost reduction initiatives to ensure pick and pack efficiency, productivity and order completion at 100% accuracy
  • Manage outgoing and incoming inventory control, inventory accuracy at 99% using best cycle count process, receiving accuracy and timely addressing PO discrepancies and reconciling the same with the internal data system
  • Ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations, realizing productivity targets along with developing and maintaining warehouse processes and operations
  • Build and manage a winning warehouse team, planning their work schedules, assigning tasks, tracking hours and appraising performance
  • Assist the team with operational tasks on high volume / priority days and as required
  • Responsible for workshop and logistics equipment maintenance, safety, and compliance with regulations in the warehouse, ensuring strict discipline and adherence to company safety policies along with necessary documentation
  • Build strong third party vendor relationships especially for shipping/carrier to ensure seamless delivery. Responsible for coordinating and communicating with external partners for location facility maintenance issues and administrative tasks as well
  • Conduct regular inspections on warehouse conditions, as well as that of vehicles, tools, and equipment:
  • Ensuring emergency equipment is in place and working properly; and
  • supervise and ensure that all safety and emergency policies and procedures are followed

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelors or Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Operations, Warehouse Management
  • At least 5 years previous warehouse management in a leadership role
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team for achieving warehouse objectives and enhance productivity
  • Experience in analyzing inventory metrics to achieve monthly targets and suggest solutions to enhance business
  • Experience driving a forklift would be a plus
