Western Ag Supply (2009) Inc. (WAGS) is a leading animal nutrition company in Western Canada and Montana. Given the continued expansion of WAGS, we are looking to add a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to service existing customers and drive further growth of our services at our location in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Serving livestock and poultry producers for over 25 years, WAGS is focused on maximizing clients’ net returns by providing industry leading expertise in the fields of nutrition, production management, input cost reduction and research.

This position is based out of our Swift Current, Saskatchewan warehouse and office. The successful candidate will work closely with our Saskatchewan Business Manager as well as our Office Coordinator located in Swift Current, as well as our Lethbridge-based administrative and logistics team.

Ideally, the candidate should live in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, or the immediate surrounding area. Key Functions:

· Managing shipping and receiving of products and using forklift to load and unload suppliers and customers

· Provide exceptional customer service for our customers dealing at the location and via phone/email

· Managing accurate inventory of the location

· Organization of warehouse

· Maintain sales relationships with customers and relay customer concerns and opportunities to sales and nutrition staff

· Support administrative and other business duties for Swift Current, and remotely for our other business locations. This includes customer invoicing, purchase orders, inventory transfers and other activities

· This position both coordinates most warehouse activities at this location and also supports the activities of our sales and nutrition team that provide service to our customers in the area.

Abilities Required:

· Strong communication and customer service skills in person and over the phone.

· Proficiency in administrative duties such as invoicing, billing statements, inventory control, filing, and other general admin duties

· Ability to operate a forklift and load and unload customers/shipments in a controlled, safe manner

· Ability to deliver products to customers across Saskatchewan and Western Canada if needed.

· Balancing A/R and A/P in a timely manner as needed for support from other locations

· Ability to operate independently to manage client relationships and solicit new business

· Experience working with Sage50 or other accounting software is preferred

The successful candidate must have the ability to travel to Lethbridge, Alberta for training.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of a Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Experience using office accounting systems

· Ability to safely operate a forklift

· Experience in the agriculture industry, ideally related to livestock feed

· Experience in working with Hutterite colony customers preferred but not required

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
