Our roots derive from a long serving sports, entertainment and lifestyle insurance provider and we have grown to encompass a wide range of niche and specialty products including inland marine, aviation, marine, specialty casualty, accident, and hard-to-place property.
SUMMARY
Participate in a project to organize and arrange correspondence between the company and brokers, working jointly with the accounting and underwriting teams to address and resolve accounts of concern.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following:
  • Act as a liaison between the underwriting and accounts receivable departments
  • Perform underwriting support functions, including the drafting of formal letters and documents
  • Maintenance of spreadsheets to facilitate accurate recording of data
  • Communicate with brokers via e-mail and telephone
  • Maintain/ innovate administrative workflow procedures to increase efficiency
  • Editing & formatting of documents using a variety of software & programs
  • Work collaboratively within a dynamic team structure
  • Other duties as assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATION
Level 1 General Insurance License (or actively pursuing) an asset
Insurance experience an asset

Job Type: Full-time Permanent (37.5 hrs/week Monday-Friday)
Starting salary range $42,000 - $45,000
