Underground Facilities Locator (Entry Level)
Shermco is looking for Underground Facility Locators in Saskatoon, Regina, Fort Qu’Appelle, Kenaston, Davidson, Craik, Kindersley, Kerrobert, Rosetown, Biggar, Humboldt, Melfort, Tisdale, Prince Albert, Yorkton, North Battleford, Cudworth, Meadow Lake, Battleford, Grenfell, Wolseley, Moosomin, and Lloydminster
Responsibilities:,
- Provide quality underground facilities locating services to customers across the province of Saskatchewan
- Ensure a high level of customer service, quality and safety are upheld
- Will be working in both urban and rural areas across the province
- Entry level position
- Valid Driver’s License & clean Drivers Abstract
- Ideal candidates will be experienced in locating underground cables in the utility sector, and have a working knowledge of telecommunications and utility infrastructure
- Sound understanding and knowledge of applicable regulations and industry best practices in the areas of OH&S, Safety, Damage Prevention, First Call processes, and underground facilities locating requirements
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and accountability
- Analytical capabilities
- Driven, motivated and a desire to exceed your clients expectations
- Calm, positive attitude under pressure
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
