Transportation team member/Dispatch

We are an international trucking company based out of Woodstock, ON and are currently seeking a well rounded, professional and reliable person to fill a permanent full time position.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers according to customer needs

-Assist drivers as needed

-Dispatching loads to drivers

-Making pickup and delivery appointments

-Administrative duties as needed

-Track and trace shipments by phone or email

Requirements

-Computer experience an asset

-Strong command of the English language both written and verbal

-Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

-Demonstrate problem solving skills

-Able to think outside the box

-Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations

-Willingness to learn highway trucking and the associated rules and regulations.

-Previous dispatch experience an asset

-Must have own transportation (we are not on a bus route)

Rate of pay is based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday (days)
