Focus College is actively seeking Instructors to join our team at our Abbotsford and Surrey campuses.

Position Type: Part-time and Full-time

Job Description:

Focus College is seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as College Level Instructors. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in teaching one of the fields with their related courses in Economics and Hospitality & Tourism.

Instruction will be delivered onsite at our Surry or Abbotsford campus and/or online.

Qualifications:

1. Prefer a minimum of two years of teaching experience in:

• Hospitality and Tourism

or

• Economics

2. Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree related to the field of teaching.

3. Degrees achieved outside of Canada require WES (World Education Services) evaluation.

4. Priority given to candidates who are graduates from Canadian or well-known universities.

5. Must have at least 2 years of recent industry-related experience.

Hours of Work:
The hours for this position will vary and dependent upon class schedules which currently run during the the day and into the evening, Monday to Sunday.

The scheduled start date for this opportunity is ongoing.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 40 per week
