*Position Description:

Under the direction of the Director, you will fulfill the day-to-day requirements in our outsourced IT function. Some of the routine duties would involve performing desktop and user support (software and hardware) for our clients in the Fraser Valley; providing network support, installation and troubleshooting; maintaining inventory control; performing wireless LAN maintenance; and providing Windows Active Directory user maintenance service including Exchange Mailboxes and file server.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop support on Microsoft Windows PC including creating and deploying system images.
- Hardware support such as replacing parts, ordering PCs.
- User support with software such as Windows, Microsoft Office, Database applications.
- Software and Hardware Inventory Control.
- Creating user accounts in Active Directory.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently to staff in all parts of the organization.
- AV Systems support including microphones, mixers, and projectors.
- General hardware and systems maintenance.
- Office 365 Management
- Other related IT services as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a 2-year Computer Information Systems Diploma program or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in an office IT support role.
- A strong aptitude for networking, servers, desktops, and software.
- Excellent communications (written and verbal) and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated dependability, reliability and flexibility and strong problem-solving skills
- Solid working knowledge of Windows Workstation (Windows 7, 8, 10), Windows Server 2016/2019 knowledge, Active Directory knowledge, Exchange 2013, 2016, 2019 mailbox management, Microsoft Office System software.
- Must have basic Networking knowledge (TCPIP, Ethernet, Vlan, QoS, PoE, VoIP and Wireless).
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
