R&D ERGO LTD., a member of the Liftsafe Group of Companies, provides a number of standard and custom ergonomic material handling solutions. We have over 25 years of experience in creating and supplying solutions to the Automotive & Manufacturing Industries, Pharmaceutical & Hospital Industries, Food & Beverage Industry and Warehouse & Retail Industries.

We are looking to add a technical sales representative to the R&D Ergo team. The successful candidate will provide technical consultation and service to customers to help solve their applications using R&D Ergo’s products in a variety of industries, selecting and promoting the proper company products/services for their application. S/He will also be responsible for identifying new clients and identifying new opportunities with existing clients.

Your qualifications include:

• 2-5 years’ experience in technical sales - experience in material handling sales is an asset
• A proven track record of your ability to close deals
• The ability to rapidly create and foster long term relationships with people across all levels of an organization
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Your duties will iclude

• Sourcing potential new customers
• Maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
• Traveling to the customer’s location to talk about our product range.
• Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.
• Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
• Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.
• Maintaining strong customer relations.
• Attending product training courses and seminars.
• Meeting sales targets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Technical Sales: 3 years (preferred)
• Material Handling Sales: 2 years (preferred)
• Industrial Sales: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence (required)
