As a Tech Lead Manager in the team, YOU will:
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the company, align with the product and organizational objectives to deliver key results of new product initiatives.
  • Define system architecture and technical roadmap for key product components.
  • Develop scalable and performant products, give code review and technical feedback as a hands-on technical leader.
  • Attract, grow and retain diverse engineering talents, providing technical direction and career growth guidance and opportunities.
  • Contribute across the entire product and technology stack, as well as collectively oversee the integrity of the codebase.

A few more specifics about YOU:
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 2+ years as the tech lead of a software engineering team, the experience of leading a mobile or product engineering team is a big plus.
  • 5+ years of full-time software development experience.
  • Solid understanding of performance implications and scalability of code.
  • Keenness for writing good, meaningful tests and maintaining thorough test coverage.
  • Experience with large, complex codebases and know how to maintain them.
  • Proficient with modern web application development with knowledge of JS ecosystems and open source web frameworks is a plus (e.g. NodeJS / React / GraphQL / PostgreSQL / Redshift / Redis / Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of good practices, preferred design patterns, and writing idiomatic Javascript code is a plus.
