This leading National Law Firm is seeking to add an associate (2+ years) Tax lawyer (litigation and/or planning) to their successful and high-profile Tax Litigation and Dispute Resolution group.

The successful candidate will work amongst top tax lawyers (ranked Nationally and Internationally) in the country on highly sophisticated files. Offering excellent mentorship, partnership prospects and a vibrant yet collegial tax practice group - all within a leading firm.

As a valued member of the group, you will provide strategic advice to both individual and corporate clients on complex domestic and international tax matters, including (Tax and financial reporting; Resource taxation matters; Income tax rulings; Transfer pricing; Cross-border tax issues) to come to successful resolutions both in and out of court.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must:

• Be a member in good standing of the Bar of British Columbia
• Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in tax litigation with a large law firm or specialized boutique
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team
