*Actalent is searching for a Systems engineer for an exciting project with one of our clients in the Transportation industry: *

• Main responsibilities:*
• Write technical client requirements; Software, electrical, mechanical and hardware
• Write SW and HW requirements
• Take product requirements to project requirements
• Be the point of contact between the client and the engineering team
• Client facing , answer to the client technical questions
• Be able to push back on the client if needed
• Technical documentation
• Participate to Bids if requested
• Detailed Job Description: *
• Analyze contractual requirements and ensure full understanding of client needs;
• Validate the system architectures proposed during project proposals;
• Create a functional description of the systems and distribute the various requirements to different groups (hardware/software) and components;
• Act as a bridge between the project manager and the development teams working on the project;
• Write or supervise the technical manufacturing documents (test procedures, final assembly instructions);
• Check compliance with the requirements of the system and its components;
• Define and ensure constant improvement in system engineering plans and procedures;
• Write contractual documentation such as quality assurance plans, compliance matrix, etc.
• Participate in design reviews, "First Article Inspection" and the qualifications of the tests of the system;
• Participate in the commissioning of the system at the customer’s location; Participate in the evaluation system engineering processes according to IEEE standards;
• Skills & Qualifications:* 1) 5+ years of experience as system engineer 2) 5+ years of experience writing technical requirements such as software and hardware 3) 5+ years of experience facing clients
• ASSETS:*
