We are looking for a Network Administrator to help us keep our online presence up to date and running smoothly. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, along with both hardware and software expertise and is comfortable using new technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor network traffic, troubleshoot hardware problems, set up and maintain computers and other devices, and perform basic programming tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and networks.
• Office 365 implementation and management
• Provide installation, integration, administration and maintenance for office networks.
• Document, plan and design an organizational network infrastructure.
• Implement new networks and migrate client workstations to new networks.
• Maintain network systems to ensure network uptime.
• Troubleshoot all computer systems including hardware, software and telecommunications.
• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and networks.
• Plan and implement new computer hardware, operating systems, and networks.
• Networking experience including enterprise grade firewalls, Layer2 and 3 switching and VLANs
• Experience installing and maintaining Linux based systems.
• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Specific Technology Administration Experience

• Microsoft Windows Server up to current version
• Microsoft 365
• Virtualization infrastructure management
• Backups Solutions for physical, virtual infrastructure, workstations
• Router and managed switch configuration
• Remote management tools
• Cyber security oriented
• Network troubleshooting
• Previous experience working for an MSP, or VAR is ideal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00-$90,628.45 per year
