Candidate Profile:

As the Structural Project Engineer, you are an inquisitive, clear thinker who can determine what work is required, and can draw rational conclusions from information available to you. A superior communicator, you are able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships. You enjoy working closely with clients and are focused on providing effective, pragmatic and imaginative solutions.


With demonstrated leadership skills, you understand the importance teaching and coaching members of your team, with your own desire for business acumen and technical growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Build client relationships
  • Manage project schedules
  • Monitor and ensure quality control
  • Train and coach members of the project team
  • Suggest innovative solutions and implement when appropriate
  • Delegate and/or supervise construction review and coordinate with field staff
  • Contribute to setting financial goals for the group and manage production costs
  • Design and manage new building projects or renovations to existing structures
  • Fulfill an in-house technical resource role for specific aspects of a project


Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer with EGBC
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience – strong design experience in all common building materials; strong in seismic analysis and design
