Position Summary

We are looking for talented and passionate Storyboard Artists to join our fun Vancouver studio for one of our upcoming productions. If you have a fresh, innovative style and limitless creative energy, we are looking for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Creative leads to translate the script into visual sequences
• Follow the guidelines and instructions given by the Script Supervisor and those set forth from episodes that have already been completed to ensure that the style and quality of drawings is maintained
• Follow direction and feedback, and incorporate notes from Director and Storyboard Supervisor
• Work in a team environment with other designers to ensure that the creative vision of the show is implemented
• Manage time effectively to complete storyboard and revisions on time, and keep Production informed of progress and/or concerns
• Create materials and other artwork as needed for the studio

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a Storyboard Artist with a full portfolio of sample work in the field of 2D Animation / episodic television.
• Degree or diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent
• Strong drawing skills and sense of layout, composition, acting, and timing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadline
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of knowledge
• Must be a team player and a self-starter who thrives in small, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Toonboom Storyboard Pro and/or Photoshop

Salary: $1,350.00-$2,000.00 per week
