Job Description

The Storeroom Attendant performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

  • Responsible for the overall management of AM&R program

  • Establish and post a contingency plan for after-hours, weekends, and vacation

  • Available to be on-site at the facility during the established business hours

Data Entry

  • Data Driven Services (DDS)

  • SAP (if applicable)

  • Spreadsheets or other tools

  • Month-end reporting

  • Customer reporting

Order Management

  • Core Return Tracking and Utilization

  • Coordinate and process repair transactions

  • Part research

  • Obtaining quotes – SAP, SOC, CMC

  • Presenting quotes to customer for approval

  • Expediting orders

  • Repair issues (pricing, turnaround time, quality, etc.)

  • Distributor interface (quotes, pickup, etc.)

  • Quoted but not released (QNR) management (clean-up outstanding orders)

Reporting

  • DDS Dynamics (Receiving, Cost Savings, Opportunities etc.)

  • Probable cause reports

  • Custom reports (Power BI)

Data Analysis/Recommendations

  • Inventory levels

  • Failure trends

  • Repair history trends

  • Pricing considerations

  • Repair process

  • Correct/right parts

  • Obsolescence management

  • Warranty tracking and management

Repair Tools Usage

  • Barcoding

  • Warranty pick tags

  • Repair tags

  • SAP

  • DDS Dynamics

  • Power BI

  • Customer software

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have intermediate computer proficiency in, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ideally 1 to 2 yrs of related experience in Data Entry, Order Mgmt-shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment; Reporting, Data Analysis and/or Repair Tool Usage.

  • Ability to collect and analyze data to identify issues and recognize trends.

  • The candidate must be a highly motivated individual that is able to multitask, have strong data entry skills, excellent organizational skills, great problem-solving skills, be very detail-oriented, and work independently as well as with a small team.

  • The candidate must act with a sense of urgency; have strong communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills and temperament
