Reporting to the Director, Central and South Zone Staffing Services, the Staffing Services Manager is accountable for performance results, organization and direction of the Staffing Service Centre (SSC) in Central Zone. This position provides leadership to the SSC scheduling teams while fostering a positive work environment that is focused on serving its customers. The Staffing Services Manager works collaboratively with client leadership teams to provide strong leadership to our customers when implementing standardized staffing processes and policies and resolving complex client issues. This position works closely with Provincial Staffing Services leadership and teams (including Business Operations Performance and Development, Rotation Services, Relief Workforce Services, Business Support Services, Application Support Services and Relief Team Program Managers) in the day to day delivery of staffing services within the zone. The Staffing Services Manager identifies SSC staffing requirements and is responsible for recruitment, staff development, work assignments and performance management, as required, for positions within the SSC. This position is accountable for monitoring expenditures, reviewing financial statements and completing variance analysis documents to ensure the SSC operates within its allocated budget.

Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in health related field or Business Administration or Education. Minimum 5 years progressive leadership or supervisory experience. Previous experience with staff scheduling and scheduling provisions. Good understanding of regulatory legislation, AHS policies and procedures, and AHS standardized scheduling processes and timekeeping practices. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Significant experience in problem solving, facilitation, concerns resolution, investigation and negotiation Knowledge of and experience in project planning and execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Leadership experience and supervisory experience within a health management and/or unionized environment. ESP scheduling application experience.
