About This Role:
The Liquidity and Funding team is looking for a Sr. Manager of Development to drive the strategic implementation of the Liquidity Risk Management solution for the Dealer and the Bank. This team is tasked with building a flexible, scalable application that will increase effectiveness of wholesale liquidity management. This role will be for a high performing, self-starter who will lead a strong team of experienced developers. This team is part of the Dealer Risk Platform team which is focused market risk, credit risk, liquidity and PnL functionality for the dealer.

As leader of this development team, you will have excellent judgment and high degree of maturity, have the ability to solve problems and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve complex problems, be a self-motivated individual with a drive to deliver with excellence, while being flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing conditions.
Here are a few things that you will be asked to perform.

• Lead and execute implementation of small to medium components of the system (beginning to end, including definition of implementation roadmap)
• Help to define guiding principles and processes to ensure consistent high code quality across the team, as well as reliability and scalability of the application
• Ensure best development practices are followed by team members as part of peer reviews and by setting an example
• Motivate and inspire other team members to consider new ideas and methods, and by actively participating in design discussions
• Support resolution of complex issues and help to find solution for loosely defined problems

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• Graduate Degree preferred.
• Full stack development with production experience with building large scale data centric applications
• Extensive experience in data modeling, and designing optimal system integrations
• Extensive experience building cutting edge data visualization tools
• 10+ years relevant experience in the following:
• 7+ years of experience using Java along with test driven development
• 3+ years of experience using Big Data technologies such as Spark or other big data HDP components (Examples include: Kafka, Druid, HDFS, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience using JavaScript with React or any other similar UI libraries
• Working experience with MS SQL Serve
• Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence to collaborate
• TeamCity to build and deploy
• Java (Akka, SpringBoot, GraphQL, Spark) to process data and build APIs
• Java Script (React, AG grid, GraphQL) to visualize data
• Parquet, Dremio, HDFS data solutions
• Spark to enrich, transform and calculate
• Kafka to move data around
• Azure Cloud to run components
• Good understanding Financial Products - FX, Securities (FI/EQ), Commodities, EQ/FI Derivatives, Secured Finance Transactions
