When you join us as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you become the face of the company for candidates. Your mission will be to find the best candidates for unionized positions, either for trades and customer service positions who can continuously uphold the vision of the company; to be a smarter, safer and more sustainable way to move people. As part of a strong team reporting to the Manager, Employee Experience Center, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will face challenges on a daily basis, all while offering superior service to our partners and candidates so that they feel confident, capable and supported. In Concrete Terms, You Will
  • Meet with managers to identify the profile of ideal candidates;
  • Prepare attractive, compelling job postings;
  • Use your creativity to find the best talents;
  • Use search strategies that make the most of social media;
  • Screen candidates;
  • Conduct phone interviews and give selection tests;
  • Organize and conduct face-to-face interviews with managers;
  • Submit job offers;
  • Perform all administrative tasks related to the recruitment process;
  • Represent the company at job fairs (in person and virtual);
  • Provide support to the Advisor, Talent Acquisition for professional positions in regard to screen resumes and phone interviews (as needed).
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or any combination of experience and studies deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in an unionized environment;
  • Experience with recruitment systems (CV Manager, Taleo or any other ATSs) and other search tools (LinkedIn and other social media platforms);
  • A fully bilingual level of French and English (spoken and written).
  • Collaborative team approach, while focused on customer service and results;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships;
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage time efficiently;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment dealing with change and continuously shifting requirements;
  • Excellent consultative skills, understanding the client’s need and ability to solve problems;
  • Be available to travel occasionally.
