The client is a Guelph based, mid sized construction company that focuses mainly in ICI and residential construction. With almost 30 years in the construction industry this client has a great reputation for finishing projects on time. Job Description

• Organize scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to ensure each project is completed on time
• Oversee work to ensure quality control standards are met at each stage of the project
• Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently
• Liaise with government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site
• Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project journal
• Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary

The Successful Applicant

• Successful candidate has 5-7 years experience in construction of multi-family homes/ stacked town homes
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Have all necessary certifications like WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
• Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
