Position Overview :

A focus driven individual who can drive safety initiatives customer satisfaction, site productivity, and cost effectiveness in every aspect of the site requirements, this position is responsible for the shared success of our customers.

Job Requirements :

Be the customer focal point and ambassador for all our customer mine sites. Build rapports and enhance our customer experiences by improving communication, site-wide efficiencies, and overseeing the implementation of modern technologies and opportunities. Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders both pro-actively and systematically, to promote product health and performance.

Lead

• Understand the internal and external customer demands and works with that information while maintaining communications with the customer on all progress and potential roadblocks. Taking the lead on all the customer expectations and developing innovative solutions to meet their needs, using all available resources as needed.

• Dealing with complex issues or problems which require careful analysis and diagnosis maintaining calm and open minded. Problems are often unique, and solutions can require someone who can think outside of the box and seek out new and alternative approaches. In this position you may be required to review and modify current processes and or develop new solutions. Setting priorities and establishing a plan to action to complete broadly defined assignments achieving desired results. Monitor key quality goals including machine mechanical availability, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, equipment management, efficiency, cost savings, mine site KPI achievements, etc. Be open to revisit and revise the way work is performed to meet quality goals.

Relationships

• Building establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with business decision makers and subject matter experts. Developing, implementing, and managing a relationship strategy for all functional areas (touch points).

• Accountable for representing the company to our customer. Develop relationships based on trust, integrity, and honesty. Enterprise

Expectations

• Manage customer service site performance. Identify trends and potential issues, draw on internal support to identify root cause and implement corrective action.

• Accountable for the health of certain key operational metrics as provided monthly for the branch scorecard.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 4 years experience in a technical role with a focus on providing solutions for customers with post-secondary education in fields such as: Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering

OR

• Minimum 10 years experience in mining or construction operations with an in-depth knowledge of computers and mining/heavy civil construction technology

• Strong leadership & communication skills

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills with proven problem solving who can deliver on all project phases without direct supervision

• Competent with office programs such MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Must Haves :

• Must have effective communication skills with the understanding and knowledge to communicate to the right people and parties at the right level when needed.

• Must have strong mathematical acumen

• Great people skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work environment building relation relationships with others in all aspects of the business

Additional Skills

• Mine operations experience on-site would be considered a strong asset

• Consulting experience would be considered an asset Mine Planning experience would be considered an asset
