We’re looking for a Service Coordinator in Saskatoon, SK.

The Opportunity:

The Service Coordinator supports the management and sales teams in preparation for sales. The Service Coordinator will also maintain the duties of administrating the yard. The Service Coordinator will have an office based in the yard office.

In this role you will:

  • Participate and complete all pertinent safety training
  • Practice individual and team-oriented safe work practices
  • Coordinate and participate in all auction and non-auction asset refurb activities. This includes, but is not limited to, pressure wash, detail, paint, VIN installation/coordination/communication, EPA confirmation and EPA label installation, PO request/invoicing accuracy, decal replacement, fuel, and fluid additive requirements & mechanical deficiency repair
  • Manage and maintain a relationship with finance team and awareness of refurb facility profit and loss reports
  • Manage as many as 10 mechanics at any given time
  • Manage and schedule a variety of onsite and offsite 3rd party vendors
  • Communicate with all Territory Managers and customers to suggest refurb needed on all equipment
  • Work with the Detailed Equipment staff and Equipment Manager to coordinate picturing and inspection of finished items for marketing, auction, and quotation scenarios
  • Manage work orders and completion of all items in a sale (lot size varies)
  • Handle all Strategic Account work orders for sale and private treaty
  • Track all invoices to make sure they are on the customer’s cost sheets
  • Management of RBA – Saskatoon assets scheduled maintenance and documentation
  • Go over cost sheets to make sure they are accurate, and all work is accounted for
  • Handle all mechanical issues after the sale in a timely manner
  • Support check in staff with yard deliveries, equipment inspection reviews, shoot price completion
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.

Here’s what you bring:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • A valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Strong time-management skills and able to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Bring a safe work practice and be expected to participate in work safe training.

This job will require you to:

  • Have a strong focus on individual and team-oriented safety practices
  • Supervise and manage a team of employees
  • Work in physical environment requiring the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
  • Climb on and off large equipment and trucks
  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends during peak auction periods
  • Grow Auction and Non-auction refurb by 10 percent each quarter
  • Travel to other Ritchie Bros sites and customer locations when required.
