Responsibilities:

• Operating different types of equipment (Trailers and small vacuum service trucks)
• Providing exceptional customer service skills
• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Understanding of logistics and geography of the lower mainland
• Managing time and routes in an efficient manner
• Being physically able to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing more than 50lbs

What your day to day will look like:

• Performing Pre- and Post- trip vehicle and equipment inspections
• Delivering and removing washroom trailers
• Working closely with route General Manager to improve route efficiencies
• Following route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking in at the end of the route
• Providing customer service in the field
• Servicing washroom trailers on a service route
• Removing waste at designated wastewater treatment facilities
• Adhering to all safety protocols and identifying hazards as they become apparent

Required license or certification:

• Class 5 Drivers License

Education/ Experience Requirements

• Class 5 drivers license (with Air Endorsement preferred)
• Clean drivers abstract (30 days or newer)
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in the portable toilet or waste service industry
• Work experience with customer service
• Experience operating trailers safely

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)
