Server/Bartender (Rotation of 3 to 4 Shifts per week)

Join our team with decades of hotel experience. We are looking for a second evening server to work in a shift rotation with another server. One week you work Friday to Sunday 2pm-10pm (3 shifts) and the following week you work Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm (4 shifts). When the hotel is busy there would be extra hours available as a secondary sever. Daily tips made with a percentage going to cooks. Additional hours also available if you are willing to work in other hotel areas. This position is in a combination Restaurant/Lounge so you would be serving and bartending, so you must be 18 years of age. Must have exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Project a pleasant and positive professional image to guests at all times
• Sell and up-sell menu and beverage items in a positive, professional manner
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Deliver and present food items to guest tables
• Process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner
• Bus and re-set tables
• Perform opening, cleaning and closing duties
• Report any irregularities or comments from guests to supervisors and leadership
• Take initiative to rectify guest recoveries as per brand standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
