Working together to provide essential services to communities across Western Canada, we are hiring a Senior ServiceNow Administrator on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This position is open to individuals working from one of our locations in Calgary, Edmonton or Saskatoon.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for managing the Service Now platform. You will architect, plan, implement, document, and maintain, the ServiceNow platform and the services it supports for the entire organization to include FCL, CRC and associations within the CRS where ServiceNow services will be extended. You will also maintain an awareness of best practices, industry trends and other solutions as they compare to those ITSM (ServiceNow) solutions that FCL currently employs.

  • Platform Management and Administration
    • You will manage and administer the ITSM platform, including system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance, design reports and dashboards and analyze/enhance system performance.
    • You will also perform system and integration testing, update the different systems, oversee application security and configure/customize ServiceNow including Workflows, Service Catalog, UI, Client scripts, Business rule, UI Actions, etc.
    • You will develop and implement new workflows and orchestration automation as needed. Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and third-party software integrations. Suggest new workflows and methods to improve our ITIL process implementations.
  • Business Analysis and Enhancements.
    • You will evaluate and assess FCL & CRS ITSM needs & processes on an ongoing basis. Perform ITSM service design and capacity planning services in the platform.
    • Make recommendations for change or upgrades when new business processes are introduced. In most cases, plan and perform those changes and upgrades or lead and coordinate the activities of other FCL staff or contractors.
  • Process improvements and Advisory Function
    • You will provide the role of subject matter expert (SME) when collaborating with the service desk and other groups within technology or outside of technology. Advise these other groups how they can accomplish what they need to do and still work within existing policies and procedures.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

  • You have post-secondary education in Computer Science/Engineering. ServiceNow Certified Administration Certification (CSA)
  • You have a minimum of 6 – 9 years relevant work experience in Information Technology – must be comfortable working in complex and collaboration environments and interacting with business units. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise ITIL Knowledge IT Service Management, ServiceNow, expanding into additional areas of ServiceNow such as HR, ITSM, Security Ops, CSM. ServiceNow Developer Certification
  • Fair knowledge of CMDB
  • Expert functional knowledge in ServiceNow. ServiceNow certification and development experience, 5+ years experience working with ServiceNow. Mastering ITIL processes with a passion for ITIL and ITSM tools. Knowledge and experience in ServiceNow Orchestration. Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation and ability to create analytical reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
