Here is an outstanding opportunity to join a Not-for-Profit organization and really make a difference in the community. Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance to join their team.

Currently the role is hybrid, but there is the potential of full in-office attendance at a later date (undefined).

This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for the financial functions for the agency. This will include all financial accounting, reporting and analysis, and review of funding requirements. The incumbent will lead all financial planning activities including funding proposal budgets, annual program and departmental budgets and longer-term budget forecasts as well as oversee and ensure the integrity of all agency-wide financial information, accounting systems and financial reporting.

Requirements

To be considered for the Senior Manager, Finance role you must:

• Have a CPA Designation or Designation in Progress.
• Have a University Degree.
• Have 5-8 years of senior financial experience in the areas of; financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial management and accounting/financial reporting systems and procedures.
• Have experience working for a Not-for-Profit organization.
• Have excellent knowledge of government and other funding agency structures and procedures.
• Have excellent knowledge of financial systems (i.e Great Plains Dynamics/True Sky), payroll and administrative information systems along with a high level of proficiency with computer software (Excel, Word etc.).
• Have previous experience managing and leading a financial team.
• Have excellent organizational, planning and administration skills along with effective analytical problem-solving skills.
• Have strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written) along with effective presentation skills.
• Be self-directed and self-motivated to optimize the organization’s financial performance and strategic direction.
