As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for expense and FTE reporting/forecasting, cost modeling, having close interlock with all revenue generating businesses across TELUS Health to support revenue forecasting, and working closely with the other TELUS Health finance team members to drive efficiencies and synergies. You will become a trusted partner across the organization and provide recommendations to achieve Operations goals and objectives.


Here’s how


  • Support profitability growth through constant reviews of business pertaining to operational efficiencies, resource planning, cost modeling, and revenue forecasting
  • Complete month end activities including monthly forecasting
  • Design new metrics and prepare reports to monitor forecast accurately and analyze all trends;
  • Prepares and communicates financial projections and analyses to the Controller and leadership team by developing effective communication of financial concepts to the audience
  • Recognize opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement by acting as a business partner
  • Any other related task within its competence

Qualifications


You’re the missing piece of the puzzle


  • At least 5 years of finance planning and analysis or audit required
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Ability to prioritize, deal with multiple projects at the same time, strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills; required
  • Function with a high level of ownership, accountability, independence and urgency when warranted in handling sensitive deadlines

Great-to-haves


  • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 15 & 16
  • Good knowledge of SAP, Worday, GSuite, and MS Office
