Title: Senior ERP Systems Administrator

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: #24 Napoleon Road, Barrie, Ontario

Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Purpose:

As the most senior ERP Administrator, responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of ERP systems. Participates in projects to implement, test, and design ERP systems applications, configuration, LCS releases, and user security. Resolves ERP-related hardware, software, and system problems in cooperation with other IT Team Members and ERP Users. Monitors and maintains ERP systems security. Responsible for the ongoing consulting, guiding, and coaching of the IT team to ensure issues and problems are resolved and appropriate and effective solutions are implemented.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Maintain global ERP system settings to ensure proper functionality of its modules (workflow, ECN, email)
• Support/guide the IT team members as the Senior Consultant for ERP systems.
• Install new software releases and system upgrades and evaluate and install patches
• Monitor ERP application performance and client installation
• Familiar with standard IT and ERP concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Maintain automation (batch jobs, script execution, etc). Maintain macros.
• Facilitate ETL from/to satellite systems, databases, and other data sources
• Ensure IT Associates are trained as necessary.
• Perform Database Administrator function (performance, monitoring, backup).
• Troubleshoot system problems, provide for Helpdesk support- 3rd tier
• Provide and manage security administration for both databases and ERP.
• Manage maintenance schedules, and maintain reports and forms.
• Support and maintain interfaces to and from other systems.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Education:University Degree or College Diploma in related field.

Minimum Years of Experience:Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
