YOUR MISSION

Electronic and software design (95%)

  • Participate in the design of electronic systems for future prototypes and LiDAR products
  • Design and create electrical diagrams
  • Analyze, simulate, and verify the integrity of electrical diagrams
  • Collaborate with inter-functional design teams (FPGA, software, signal processing, ASIC, optics, mechanics) to identify new technologies and develop concept tests
  • Incubate, develop, and protect electrical ideas and designs for the next generation of products
  • Co-develop electronic systems with Leddartech´s technology and manufacturing partners
  • Develop in-depth design documentation
  • Develop and execute testing and debugging procedures

Contributions to organizational development (5%)

  • Taking part in meetings relevant to duties
  • Collaborating with co-workers
  • Collaborating on the organization’s administrative procedures
  • Keeping knowledge up to date

The ideal person to fill this position will have:

  • Have good communication skills
  • Have a strong ability to work on a team
  • Have a positive attitude to collaborate, motivate, and influence a multidisciplinary design team
  • Have experience designing analog circuits (TIA, ADC, Photodiode, laser driver, etc.)
  • Have experience designing high-speed circuits (DDR interface, MIPI, SPI, etc.)
  • Have an excellent knowledge of integrated circuits (Microprocessors, SoC, DSP, FPGA) and communication protocols (Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, etc.)
  • Have knowledge of power supply design
  • Be flexible and able to improvise to achieve goals.
  • Have a good capacity to prepare and verify detailed calculations, specifications, and analyses
  • Have experience developing electrical equipment within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be able to organize and participate in design reviews
  • Have strong troubleshooting skills
  • Be able to organize and prioritize tasks and activities
  • Be familiar with Altium
  • Demonstrate leadership
  • Work autonomously
  • Be able to work under pressure and with flexible hours.
  • Software –Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Pspice et Lt-Spice
  • Languages – French and functional spoken and written English
  • College Degree in electrical engineering or another relevant field
  • Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in electronic design
